Coats for Kids drive underway at Valley View |

Valley View Elementary is now conducting its
annual Coats for Kids drive, and anyone
may drop off their gently used, clean coats with
buttons or working zippers.
Hats, gloves, boots and scarves are also needed.
Items may be dropped off during Valley View
Elementary, 6750 Augusta Street, Bonners Ferry,
during regular office hours, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Monday through Thursday.
Drop boxes are also available at Safeway, Super
1 and Shopko.
Distribution will begin on Wednesday, October
18. Any Boundary County child in need of winter
clothing is welcome. A parent or other adult
must accompany a child to choose winter clothing
items.
A staff member may assist a Valley View student
in selecting a coat if the parent or guardian
makes arrangements.
