Hats, gloves, boots and scarves are also needed.
Items may be dropped off during Valley View Elementary, 6750 Augusta Street, Bonners Ferry, during regular office hours, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
Drop boxes are also available at Safeway, Super 1 and Shopko.
Distribution will begin on Wednesday, October 18. Any Boundary County child in need of winter clothing is welcome. A parent or other adult must accompany a child to choose winter clothing items.
A staff member may assist a Valley View student in selecting a coat if the parent or guardian makes arrangements.
