Boundary County folks aged 18 and older can help
protect themselves from the flu this season by
getting a flu shot Wednesday, October 3, at the
Senior Center, 6635 Lincoln Street.
Panhandle Health District will provide adult and
high dose flu shots for adults of all ages from
10:30 a.m. to noon at the senior center, 6635
Lincoln St. in Bonners Ferry. No appointment is
necessary. This is the only off-site clinic PHD
Bonners Ferry offers.
Adult shots cost $30. High dose, which is
designed to create a stronger immune response
than the regular adult vaccine, costs $55 and is
only for people older than 64. People should
bring insurance and Medicare cards.
PHD accepts cash, checks, Medicare Part B and
Medicaid.
