Boundary County folks aged 18 and older can help
protect themselves from the flu this season by
getting a flu shot Wednesday, October 3, at the
Senior Center, 6635 Lincoln Street. Panhandle Health District will provide adult and high dose flu shots for adults of all ages from 10:30 a.m. to noon at the senior center, 6635 Lincoln St. in Bonners Ferry. No appointment is necessary. This is the only off-site clinic PHD Bonners Ferry offers. Adult shots cost $30. High dose, which is designed to create a stronger immune response than the regular adult vaccine, costs $55 and is only for people older than 64. People should bring insurance and Medicare cards. PHD accepts cash, checks, Medicare Part B and Medicaid. For information, call (208) 267-5558. |
