With the Badger fall sports season wrapped up
and the winter sports season gearing up, the
Junior Class parents and the parents of the
athletes on the JV football team have work to
do.
The Badger Fall Sports Awards dinner is coming
up on Monday, November 5, and the JV team
parents are responsible for food for the
football team, which,
appropriate to the weather lately, will be a
chili feed.
Jennifer English is coordinating, and all Badger
JV football parents were encouraged to pitch in,
but just after this story was written and not
long before it was going on line, Jennifer wrote
and said everything has been taken care of!
The football dinner, to be served in the middle
school cafeteria at 5 p.m., will be chili,
cornbread and brownies ... perfect fare for a
cool fall day.
Those who still want to help can call or text
her at (208) 755-6118, or you can leave her a
message on her
Facebook page.
With the Badger basketball season less than a
month away, the BFHS Junior Class Parents,
working to raise funds for this year's Senior
Class All-Night Party, and they're busy
gathering goods for silent auctions to be held
during this years varsity home basketball games.
The first silent auction is set for Saturday,
December 1, when the Badger boys take on
Lakeland at 6:30 p.m.; the second is set for
Thursday, December 20, when the boys take on
Sandpoint at 8 p.m.
The Junior Class Parents are looking for
donations of those things the people of Boundary
County do so well; homemade jams, jellies, salsa
and the like, scrumptious baked goods, home made
apparel, such as hats, scarves, mittens and
headbands, crafts, art, gift baskets ... it's
all welcome and much appreciated!
Lisa Solt is coordinating the drive, and she can
be reached by voice or text at (208) 610-5480,
or you can leave a message on her
Facebook page.
