August 25, 2012 |
The Maniacs didn't have what it took Friday
evening as the Bonners Ferry Badger girls soccer
team paid a visit and trounced the Orofino girls
6-0.
Liz Racer had an outstanding game, scoring the
opening three goals for the Badgers.
Anika Blackmore put in the fourth goal for the
Badgers, and goals five and six went to freshmen
Kerstin Oxford and Sarah Beck.
"The girls played really well," said Badger
Coach Erin Delude. "Their work on ball control
is coming right along."
The Badgers travel to Kellogg this afternoon,
and play three back-to-back home games in the
week ahead, taking on Timberlake at 5 p.m.
Tuesday, August 28, facing Coeur d'Alene Charter
Academy at 6 p.m. Thursday, August 30, and
wrapping up the home series against Stillwater
Christian Academy at 3 p.m. Friday, August 31. |
