Warriors down University Titans and advance
to semi-finals

The Bonners Ferry Lacrosse Club Warriors
Traveled to Spokane May 13 to take on the
University High School Titans in a league game.
They walked away with a 16-6 victory which
propels them into a semi-final playoff game
against Gonzaga Prep May 18 at 7:30pm at
Gonzaga.
In the game against the Titans the Warriors out
scored the Titans in each quarter with Zach
Wilson earning 8 points on 5 goals and 3
assists. Kyle Mullin had 4 goals and one assist,
while Stephen Bachmann, Alex Caponi, and Mitch
Carroll each found the back of the net with the
rock 2 times.
Sean Miseralso had a goal for the Warriors. The
Warriors had a total of 46 shots on goal, and
the Titans goalie, Colton Jacobs turned back 30
shots.
On Defense, goalie Wesley Kreiner turn back 9
shots, as our defenses middies Joel Fields, Josh
Miller, Marty Russell; and defensemen Shane
Hefferman, Jed Allen, Clayton Wang, Morris
McAllister, and Hunter Borer playing a tight
defense kept the Titans to only 15 shots on
goal.
The Warriors took on Sandpoint May 16 in
Sandpoint in their last league game before
playing the semi-final game against Gonzaga Prep
on May 18.
The winner of that game will advance to the
league championship game against either Lake
City or Coeur d’Alene High Schools May 20 in
Coeur d’Alene.
Coach Niewieroski will be having summer camp for
7th-9th grade boys. The camp will run from June
20-24. Parents of the boys interested in
