Mosely, Geyman take first in chess tourney |

Jonathan Geyman took first place in the adult
division and Mitchell Mosely was tops in the
K-12 age group in a weekend chess tournament
directed by Julie Nahlen of Master's Academy and
hosted by Boundary Martial Arts. Thanks go to
Doctor Troy Geyman for sponsoring this event.
Winners in the K-3 Division were Ahanu Fasani,
first place, Zadok Steffan, second, and Chenoah
Fasani, third. In the K-6 Division, winners were
Josiah Geyman, first, Katadin Fasani, second,
and Malia Steffan, third. In the K-12 Division,
winners were Mitchell Mosely, first, and Elisa
Balcaen, second.
In the Open (adult) Division, winners were
Jonathan Geyman, first place, did not accept
prize money, John Nahlen, first place $50, Louis
Balcaen, second place, $30, and Didier Balcaen,
third, $20. |
