Boundary
County Middle School is proud to announce
Charles Meyers as the district’s Classified
Employee of the Month. Charles tries hard to
bring out the best in his students, always keeps
a positive attitude, and has more patience than
most people have.
Charles is very good at what he does. As a
paraprofessional working with special needs and
disabled students, he tries to integrate
students into the general education schedule as
much as possible. He attempts to get the most
education for his students as he can and can
often be heard asking what he can do for his
student to perform better and get more out of a
class. He has taken a few students who have been
especially reluctant in PE and created an
atmosphere where those students are now dressing
down daily and participating regularly in the
class. We believe Charles is motivating to
students and creates a positive atmosphere for
them to succeed.
Charles is also a very positive person. You will
often find him laughing and smiling at what is
occurring around him. He is able to turn any
event into a positive or see the positive in it.
Positivity is a quality people enjoy being
around and therefore people enjoy being around
Charles. This quality also allows Charles to see
the best in whatever situation is before him and
enjoy his job.
Charles is a very patient person. His position
demands this feature but Charles is exceptional
at caring and waiting for things to become as he
would want them to be. This patience allows him
to take some time to think about what needs to
be done while also not getting upset at things
he cannot control or have not materialized yet.
Charles is a critical component of our team at
BCMS. Students and staff are extremely happy to
have Charles’ support and qualities. We are
happy and better with Charles on our side. |
