Idaho Arts Commission sponsors writing workshop
and
public reading by

Author Renee D’Aoust will treat the community to
readings of her work at Bonners Books in Bonners
Ferry on Friday, January 15 from 7:00-9:00 p.m.
Renée E. D’Aoust is the author of Body of a
Dancer (Etruscan Press), a Foreword Reviews
"Book of the Year" finalist. She has received
grants from the Idaho Arts Commission and the
Puffin Foundation, three Pushcart nominations,
and six “Notable” mentions in Best American
Essays. Forthcoming and recent publications
include Brevity, Essay Daily, Los Angeles
Review of Books, Ragazine, Rain Taxi, Sweet: A
Literary Confection, and Trestle Creek
Review.

D’Aoust lives in southern Switzerland and
northern Idaho, and she teaches online at North
Idaho College and Casper College. She is an
Associated Writers Program “Writer to Writer”
mentor and the Managing Editor of Assay: A
Journal of Nonfiction Studies. You can follow

The reading will follow a day long workshop with
the “Write Stuff,” an informal group of local
writers who meet the first and third Friday in
the basement of Trinity Lutheran Church. The
workshop and reading is sponsored by the Idaho
Arts Commission Tumble Words program and the
Boundary County Library. The program is free and
