Carina Jill Old, 43, died at her home near
Naples November 4, 2011. A memorial service for
Anna will be held in the spring.
Anna was born in Sweden September 28, 1968, to
Ove K. and Ingalill Gunnarson. She grew up in
Oregon and Montana. She met her husband, Mel
Old, in Alaska, where they lived until Mel’s
death from cancer. After he died she moved to
Bonners Ferry, and later to Gray’s River,
Washington. She returned to Bonners Ferry in the
spring of 2011, became active in the Bonners
Ferry Farmer's Market, and a familiar face to
many, riding her yellow Harley Davidson
motorcycle around town with her big old black
and white mutt and faithful companion, who she
brought home from a local shelter, happily
riding along in the sidecar.
Anna enjoyed kayaking and camping, and she was a
wonderful artist. She will be deeply missed by
her family and friends.
