Another round of snow to usher in clear New

According to the National Weather Service, a
second, more intense storm than the one that just
passed will impact the region Friday. This storm
will bring the potential for heavy snow to
locations north of Interstate 90, with mainly
rain south of I-90.
In Bonners Ferry, snow is expected mainly after
10 a.m. today, with as much as five additional
inches falling before snowfall gets heavy Friday
evening and night, when up to 10 more inches is
predicted.
Snowfall is expected to taper beginning at 10
a.m. Saturday, and skies are expected to clear
for a bright, cool New Year's Day Monday, with a
high temperature of 23 forecast. |
