Blanchard woman treated after I-90 crash |

A semi driver attempting a lane change near mile
11 on I-90 in Coeur d'Alene this morning sent a
Blanchard woman to the hospital and shut down
the eastbound lane for about four hours.
According to the Idaho State Police, Ricardo
T.J. Saenz, 40, Pasco, Washington, was driving a
white 2017 Freightliner pulling three box
trailers east at about 11:47 a.m. when he
attempted to change lanes.
He hit a red 1993 Honda Prelude, also eastbound,
driven by Beverly Brisson, 80, Blanchard.
Her Prelude came to rest came to a rest in the
center eastbound lane and the third trailer of
Saenz's rig overturned, blocking both lanes.
Brisson was transported to Kootenai Health. Both
she ad Saenz were wearing their seatbelts. |
