For many, the dream of home ownership can seem
out of reach in today’s fast-moving, competitive
real estate market. Skyrocketing home prices,
limited housing choices and escalating interest
rates can be intimidating until one understands
how the housing market works.
Enter "Finally Home!" Homebuyer Education,
presented by Idaho Housing and Finance
Association, where attendees walk through the
home buying process and receive answers to
common home buyer questions about credit scores,
how to negotiate a good deal, what kind of down
payment is needed and what happens during
escrow.
May’s free "Finally Home!" Home Buyer Education
session will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Saturday, May 13, at the Bonner Community
Housing Agency, 819 U.S. Highway 2, Sandpoint.
For more information and to register to attend:
www.finallyhomeidaho.com/sandpoint.
“'Finally Home!' rates highly with attendees, as
9 out of 10 say they gained practical
information, useful to their house purchase,”
says Heather Bowman, Idaho Housing homebuyer
education and counseling administrator. “We take
great pride in helping Idahoans achieve their
goal of homeownership, to date more than 50,000
have graduated from the course.”
In addition to Sandpoint, Finally Home! is
offered monthly in Boise, Nampa, Twin Falls,
Moscow/Lewiston, Coeur d’Alene, and Idaho Falls.
In June, the course registration fee of $10-20
per attendee will be reinstated. "Finally Home!"
may also be taken online, in English or Spanish,
for a $50 registration fee.
Idaho Housing and Finance Association is a
HUD-approved Housing Counseling Agency. The
"Finally Home!" program adheres to the national
industry standards for home ownership education. |
