Spring Hiring Event to be the year's biggest |
April 21, 2017 |
The Spring Hiring Event organized by the Idaho
Department of Labor will have more than 60
employers eager to fill more than 700 job
openings from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, April
26, at Real Life Ministries, N1866 Cecil Road,
Post Falls.
The healthy economy is good news for job
seekers, which means there are plenty of jobs to
choose from in a variety of industries. Jobs in
manufacturing and construction have been
especially difficult to fill and vacancies are
at a 10-year high.
Health care, food service and accommodation
continue to be some of the fastest-growing
industries.
The Spring Hiring Event will host employers from
northern Idaho and the Spokane area. For a
complete list of employers scheduled to attend,
see the Idaho Department of Labor online
calendar at
labor.idaho.gov/calendar.
The event is free to attend. Job applicants are
encouraged to bring a resume, dress to meet
potential employers and be prepared to speak
directly with company recruiters and HR
personnel.
Customers with disabilities who need a
reasonable accommodation to participate can
contact Stacey Hanlon at (208) 457-8789
extension 3947. To access the Idaho Relay
Service for the deaf and hard of hearing, dial
711. |
