County asking for damage reports |
February 10, 2017 |
Boundary County Emergency Management Director
Michael Meier is asking all county residents who
suffered structural damage to their home or
buildings during the latest snow storm event
since commissioners declared a state of
emergency February 6 to please report those
damages by sending an email to
mmeier@boundarycountyid.org.
Keeping tracking will help the county in
assessing overall damage, and could help qualify
area residents for low cost loansto repair those
damages.
When reporting, please include the propertry
owner's name, mailing address, email and
telephone number, the physical address where the
damages occured, a description of the damage and
the approximate cost for repair or replacement.
Photos are always a great thing to have.
"Your participation is important to protect your
home and security for the future," Meier said.
"We know not all damage is evident at the
outset, so please take the time and provide your
damage reports as needed." |
