Time to renew city dog licenses |
January 19, 2017 |
Bonners Ferry residents who own pet pooches are
reminded that with the new year, it's time to
get your annual dog licenses.
Everyone living within Bonners Ferry city limits
who keeps or harbors a dog is required, pursuant
to City Code 5-3B-3 to purchase a license tag
for each dog, and it requires that the owner
attach the tag to the collar of each pooch so
that if they happen to wander and get picked up
and/or land in a local shelter, you can pick
them up and take them home before they get
lonesome and take up the harmonica.
License fees are $24 annually, but those who
pick theirs up on or before January 31 only pay
$12 per pup. You can pick up dog licenses at
Bonners Ferry City Hall, 7232 Main Street in
downtown Bonners Ferry, during regular business
hours.
