Care-n-Share gearing up for its 34th season |
November 19, 2016 |
Applications for this year's Care-N-Share are
now available at the Panhandle Health Clinic,
7402 Caribou Street, Bonners Ferry, and at the
Bamboo Room Crafts Store, 35 Automation Lane on
Highway 95 about a mile north of Three Mile, to
help ensure that no child in Boundary County has
to go without a gift at Christmas. Applications need to be turned in by December 5 to ensure a presernt for Christmas day. You don't have to be a parent or guardian to make application, either. If you know of a family going through tough times, you can make application on their behalf. Those who'd like to share the giving spirit of Christmas this holiday season are encouraged to give to Care-n-Share. Donations of new or gently used toys or warm children's clothing can be dropped off after Thanksgiving at any Boundary County bank branch, the Bamboo Room or E.L. Internet Northwest, or under the Christmas tree at the Boundary County Courthouse. Cash donations can be mailed to Care-N-Share, 515014 Highway 95, Bonners Ferry, ID, 83805. If someone wants to sponsor a child or a family, call Linda Lederhos, the founder and driving force behind Care-n-Share, at (208) 290-1483. Now in its 34th year of giving, all Care-n-Share donations stay in Boundary County to help children here have a merry Christmas. |
