Forage and grazing school set |

The North Idaho Forage and Grazing School will
be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday, November
1, at the Ponderay Event Center, 401 Bonner Mall
Way, Ponderay. Topics include hay preservatives, management intensive grazing, managing grassland ecosystems, results of North Idaho alfalfa variety trials, raising cover crops for grazing, fertility, weed control and the relative economics of crop production in North Idaho. Three pesticide recertification credits will be available. A $15 registration fee covers refreshments and lunch, handouts and a memory stick with all the presentations, handouts, and relevant Extension bulletins.
