One of the fun events at last Saturday's Boundary Community Hospital Health Fair was the raffle for exciting prizes.

Drawings for the Hospital Auxiliary Health Fair Raffle took place last Saturday, May 14, during all the other activities going on at the fair. Sixteen local Boundary County businesses donated to this raffle. Proceeds brought in enough to cover the cost of two new roll-around carts for surgery, a trampoline/rebounder for physical therapy, and an oximeter for Acute Care.

Prize winners in this drawing were:

• Badger Den – Patty Kerby
• Chic-N-Chop – Ed Leach
• Far North Deli – Fran Oakes
• Goat Mt. Pizza – Judy Baruth
• Kootenai Inn Spa – Jean Diel
• Mi Pueblo – Valdie Burkholder
• Mugsy’s – Laura
• Oriental Garden – Rob Mulvaney
• Pizza Factory—Rebeckay at Akins and Valdie Burkholder
• Safeway – Rocky Burkholder
• Soul Shine – Carriage House Inn
• Subway – Hair Connection and Holly McDonald
• Sugar Plum Floral – Ken Cederholm, who donated it to hospital
• Under the Sun – Wendy McClintock
• Wild Horse Mercantile – Carol Dudley
• $50 gift certificates from Super 1 & Akins went to Cassandra Romine

The Auxiliary will personally notify all of the winners.

Special thanks to Grace Coughlin for putting together a special presentation of the history of the Hospital Auxiliary starting from the founding in 1953 to the present. Many people stopped to watch and commented on people they knew. If you would like to join the Auxiliary, come to the next meeting at Chic-n-Chop at 11:30 on Tuesday, September 13, 2016.
