Naples Christmas Holiday Festival is set |
November 14, 2015 |
A big, busy, fun day of great activities have
been set for the Naples Holiday Festival, Saturday, December 5.
Santa Claus will be coming to the Naples General
Store, and will stay until 2:30 p.m. for
pictures with kids. The Naples Elementary school
gym will have a craft fair. Visitors can
purchase gifts there while the kids get their
faces painted for free.
The fire station will have craft making
activities and caramel apple making, along with
a bake sale run by Helping Hands of Naples.
Holiday movies will be playing in the fire
station, and popcorn, hot dogs, and other
goodies will be available.
Other activities include a coloring contest, and
a bonfire by the church with smores and hot
chocolate. With your donation, you can select a
Christmas tree from the fire fighters. A "Blue
Smurf" Firetruck will offer rides around the
community. Meet other Christmas characters who
will be roaming through all the day's
activities.
When does all this begin? On Saturday, December
5, with the Craft Fair starting at 10:00 a.m.,
and all other activities at noon. Everything
ends at 4:00 p.m. with a parade and lighting of
the Christmas tree at the fire station.
