Badger athletes begin their preparation with
free sports physicals at Boundary Community
Hospital |

Boundary Community Hospital hosted another
successful Free Sports Physical Clinic on
Tuesday, July 28. The Medical Staff of Boundary
Community Hospital, along with hospital employee
volunteers, and Conrad Garner, the High School
Athletic Director,and Wayne Wilkerson, BFHS Head
Boys' Soccer Coach, gathered at the Outpatient
Clinic of Boundary Community Hospital to conduct
the State of Idaho required Sports Physical. The
physical is mandatory for participation in
school sponsored sports programs.
Sixty-nine students received free physicals,
which included tests of vision, height, weight,
and urinalysis, as well as an entire series of
range-of-motion tests from the hospital’s
Rehabilitation Department. Each student
progressed from station to station during the
exam with a visit to a local physician as the
final stop to complete the exam.
Marcia Morman, Boundary Community Hospital
spokesperson, says “thank-you” to all the
hospital employees and Medical Staff who helped.
“All of the volunteers stayed after a full work
day to put in another two hours to perform this
community service,” Marcia stated. “The free
physicals have a positive impact on our
community. I am always impressed with the
wonderful attitude of our hospital employees and
their spirit of volunteerism.” |
