Follow-up: Idaho teacher wins contest for
$100,000
for her school |

recently, where we relayed a request from
Governor C.L. "Butch" Otter to help an Idaho
teacher win a $100,000 prize for her school.

We are now posting this follow up story to
report that this Idaho teacher, Melissa Hunt,
who teaches at Stoddard Elementary School in
Blackfoot, was one of the five winners of five
$100,000 awards from the Farmers Insurance Thank
a Million Teachers Dream Big Challenge.
The prize money will go to the school, and will
be used according to the plan and project that
Ms. Hunt outlined in her contest entry, and as
portrayed in the video she submitted as part of
her entry. Her video and proposal information

We all know one thing: it's not easy to win
$100,000. Congratulations to Ms. Hunt, and to
her school, and thanks to all those who helped
out by viewing and voting on her winning
proposal. We're sure our NewsBF readers and
