Boundary County Clerk Glenda Poston elected Vice President of statewide Association |
August 25, 2014 |
The Idaho Association of County Recorders and
Clerks held its annual meeting in Orofino last
week. One order of business was the electing of
officers for the new year. Boundary County's
Clerk Glenda Poston was selected as one of the
state association's officers. Mary Lou Hansen, Clerk of Teton County, was named President of the Idaho Association of County Clerks and Recorders (IACRC). Other Idaho county clerks assuming leadership positions in the organization were Glenda Poston of Boundary County, who is the new IACRC Vice President; and Joe Larsen of Cassia County, who is the new IACRC Secretary/Treasurer. Every County Clerk in Idaho participates in the statewide association, which is dedicated to helping Clerks perform their duties in accordance with state statute. This year’s conference featured presentations by Secretary of State Ben Ysursa, Supreme Court Administrative Director Patti Tobias and State Tax Commission Property Tax Administrator Steve Fiscus. Congratulations to Ms. Poston for statewide recognition of her abilities, and for her new statewide responsibilities! |
