Sater's Auction working to reopen |

By Mike Weland Auctioneer extraordinaire John Sater has had to suspend his Thursday auctions for a good chunk of this winter, the first time that's happened in 44 years. A regular event for a great cast of characters from across the region, John promises that he's working to get going as soon as he can, and that he'll get word out as far and wide as he can when he'll reopen. He said he has a whole barn full of great items to put across the block, so that first auction when he and the crew open up will be a doozy you won't want to miss! Once that one's ended, John said he'll start accepting consignments again. John's crew talked him into opening a Facebook page so his customers can keep track of the goings on, and if Sue Kemmis lets me know, I'll post opening day on NewsBF as soon as I can! |
