Boundary County School District 101 and the
administration and staff of Naples Elementary
School are inviting Boundary County parents and
students who may be interested in Naples'
School's Magnet Program to attend a special
meeting at the Naples School on Wednesday, May
28. The district is inviting parents and students from anywhere in the county who might be interested in attending Naples School this fall to come to this meeting and learn more about some of the programs and atmosphere at Naples Elementary. "Naples is a magnet elementary school, and offers some options you may not know are available to your child," said Dick Conley, School District Superintendent. "If you have not had an opportunity to learn about the H.A.T.S. program, we would like to introduce you to the positive impact it is having on our students." According to Steve Morton, principal of Naples Elementary, "Part of what makes Naples such a wonderful school are the enrichment activities available through our H.A.T.S. Magnet Program. Throughout the year, cross-age classes focusing on the humanities, arts, technology, and science (H.A.T.S.) are offered weekly for students to choose from. Students love the change of pace and diversity, while staff enjoy the opportunity to enhance our core curriculum through thematic, project-based activities." Mr. Morton added, "Naples is a community school that prides itself in being welcoming, supportive, and family-oriented. Inside our school you will find high academic and behavioral expectations being taught, modeled, and reinforced by a dedicated staff." Superintendent Conley invites all who are interested in their son or daughter becoming a student at Naples Elementary School, to attend the Open House on Wednesday, May 28, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., to learn more about the programs available at Naples Elementary. "This option is available to students residing anywhere in Boundary County under the district's open enrollment policy," said Conley. For more information, interested parents can contact Steve Morton, principal of Naples Elementary, at 208-267-2956. |
