Eight arrested in drug sting |

Boundary The Bonners Ferry Police Department announced that at about 2 p.m. Monday, April 7, officers, deputies and agents from the Bonners Ferry Police Department, Boundary County Narcotics Task Force, Boundary County Sheriff’s Office, U.S. Forest Service Police and the U.S. Border Patrol served narcotics related search warrants in the 6500 Block of Madison Street and the 6600 Block of Augusta Street in Bonners Ferry. Officials recovered several grams of suspected methamphetamine, heroin and drug paraphernalia at the two locations as well as firearms in possession of a convicted felon.
The warrants were served nearly simultaneously
as part of an on-going effort between local and
federal authorities to end the importation and
use of illegal narcotics in Arrested at 6652 Madison were: Brenda Woods, 44, felony possession of a controlled substance; Alexandria Jones, 18, felony possession of a controlled substance; Jacob Navarro, 22, felony possession of a controlled substance; and Nathan Gomez, 20, frequenting a drug house. Arrested at 6686 Augusta, Apartment 205 were: William Woods, 23, felony possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute and felon in possession of a firearm; Chad Woods, 20, misdemeanor possession of stolen property; Jonathan Beckman, 20, misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia and frequenting a drug house; and Russell Mock, 24, misdemeanor obstructing and delaying a police officer. All suspects were transported and booked into the Boundary County Jail. |
