Bonners
Ferry High School is proud to announce Diane Niewieroski as School District 101's November
certified teacher of the month.
Diane has been working as a special education
teacher here at BFHS for 19 years and in the
district for a total of 21 years. During that
time she has made an immeasurable impact on the
students and families she has worked with.
If you have had the opportunity to have a child
in Mrs. Niewieroski’s class, you will know she
puts her heart and soul into everything she
does. She strives to make connections and build
relationships with her students.
Her deep care for the students she serves is
always evident.
Diane works hard to prepare her students to be
successful not only in the classroom but in life
as well.
When asked how she is able to still come to
school with a smile every day, despite the long
hours and endless paperwork, she smiled and said
“I don’t look at teaching as a job but a
calling.”
From the eighth grade Diane knew she wanted to
be a teacher.
She loves what she does and the energy from the
students keeps her feeling young.
When asked about retirement one day, she said if
she ever does retire she will probably still be
seen at the school often and would probably work
as a substitute.
Bonners Ferry high school is proud to have Mrs.
Niewieroski working with us. Thank you Mrs.
Niewieroski for the amazing work you do with our
students. |
