BNSF offers hazmat classes

The BNSF Railroad is sponsoring the 2013
Railroad Hazardous Material Awareness Class to
be held Friday, September 13, from 9 a.m. to
noon at the Sandpoint City Council Chambers
located at 1123 Lake Street, Sandpoint.
Classes will also be given on September 14, 9
a.m. to noon at the Sandpoint Fire Department,
1123 Lake Street.
Topics include rail safety, communications,
shipping documents, locomotive hazards, tank car
construction, placards and markings, rail
resources, and crude oil transport.
