Three-way race for BF City Council
|
September 6, 2013 |
Unless there are candidates who file as
write-ins, three people will vie for two seats
on the Bonners Ferry City Council in November,
with the top two vote getters filling the slots.
The deadline for filing to be on the ballot
ended today.
Incumbent city councilman Tom Mayo will seek a
second term, and the other seat, vacated by the
resignation of Mike Klaus, is expected to be
vacated in January by Bob Blanford, appointed by
Mayor David Anderson at Tuesday's city council
meeting.
Former sheriff and long-time county commissioner
Ron Smith and Matthew Solt are the challengers. |
