I would like to thank everyone who volunteered
their time to make this year’s US Customs vs.
Border Patrol charity flag football game happen.
I know that the Bliss family was overwhelmed
with the support from our community coming
together to help their family.
Even though the game was one sided, both teams
had fun and enjoyed helping Abby Bliss have a
safe and fun summer this year.
The Bliss family will receive additional help in
putting the fence up. US Customs officers and
Border Patrol agents will come together in the
coming weeks with the help of The Rotary Club to
get the fence constructed.
The event raised over $1,200.00 for the project.
I would also like to thank the community and our
sponsors for supporting this event. Your
generous contributions have helped last year’s
recipient Adien Brenamen with his mobility, and
with your continued generosity Abby Bliss, this
year’s recipient, will have her mobility less
restricted when playing in the yard this year. |
