Winter weather advisory for snow, wind

The National Weather Service, Spokane, has
issued a winter weather advisory in effect from
midnight tonight to 10 a.m. Monday, calling for
snow and gusty winds.
Accord to the National Weather Serve, a vigorous
storm system will move through the region
tonight, bringing moderate to heavy snow as the
front passes and shifts east.
The front could bring one to four inches of snow
in the valleys and three to eight inches at
higher elevations. Along with snow, the front is
expected to bring steady winds of five to 15
miles per hour, with gusts up to 25 miles per
hour.
The system could impact the Monday morning
commute, with snow covered, slick roads possible
before the snow gives over to rain Monday
afternoon. |
