Winter weather advisory issued

The National Weather Service this morning issued
a winter weather advisory over North Idaho and
northeast Washington, calling for snow just in
time for the Monday morning commute.
The advisory, in effect from 10 p.m. today
through 10 a.m. Monday, predicts two to three
inches of new snow overnight in the valleys and
up to five inches at higher elevations.
According to the National Weather Service,
scattered light snow showers today will turn
steady tonight and continue through Monday
morning before tapering off.
They warn that morning road conditions could be
hazardous, and advise motorist to give
themselves a bit of extra time to reach their
destinations. |
