The National Weather Service has issued an
advisory for several days of heavy to moderate
rain throughout North Idaho.
Several storms systems are expected to pass
through the region over the next several days,
with the snow elevations high enough that most
precipitation will fall as rain, with the
heaviest showers expected Sunday night and into
Monday.
Lower elevations could see up to an inch of rain
falling tonight through Monday, higher
elevations could see as much as two inches,
enough to cause minor flooding, particularly on
area creeks, rivers a streams.
Computer models indicate that more heavy rain is
possible in the lower elevations through next
week. |
