Body found in burned-out trailer |

Details remain extremely sketchy, but it has
been confirmed that a body was discovered Monday
evening in the rubble of a burned out trailer on
Curley Creek Road. The identity of the deceased has not not been released, and the body was taken to Spokane for autopsy, though results regarding the cause of death have likewise not been released. At approximately 6:03 p.m. April 2, sheriff's dispatchers received a call from a passerby reporting the burned-out trailer at 532 Curley Creek Road, as well as his concern that the person who lived there was still inside. Curley Creek fire chief Brad Stalcup and a sheriffs deputy were sent to the scene and confirmed the report. The sheriff's office, with the assistance of the state fire marshal, has launched an investigation into the incident. |
