Run for the Fallen seeks Facebook friends

On August 20, hundreds are expected to gather
for Idaho's first "Run for the Fallen," to be
held right here in Bonners Ferry, and organizers
are working to get the word out and to garner
support for the event, which will honor 51
military personnel with ties to Idaho who've
laid down their lives while serving their
country in Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Because of changes in Facebook group policies, a
new Facebook account had to be set up. It can be
found at
http://www.facebook.com/pages/Run-For-The-Fallen-Idaho/201109559930764.
The more
people who "friend" the page, and the more who
share the link with their friends, the more
successful Idaho's Run for the Fallen will be.
The run begins at 7:45 a.m. Saturday, August 20, 2011, at
Veteran's Park ... beside a memorial on the
grounds of the library, yet to be etched with
more names of those of our neighbors who've
fallen in service to our nation, and beneath the
billowing flag they died defending, runners will
