Three injured, two arrested after crash

Three women were injured Friday afternoon and
two men jailed after a head-on collision on
Eileen Road.
According the the Idaho State Police, Logan
Moore, 20, Thompson Falls, Montana, was driving
a 1995 GMC Sierra pickup south on Eileen Road at
a high rate of speed at about 2:14 p.m. May 6
when he fishtailed and lost control of the
vehicle, crossing the centerline and hitting a
1996 Honda Accord driven by Jayme Hahn, 20,
Osburn, Idaho, head on.
Moore and his passender, Thomas Elder, 17, also
of Thompson Falls, fled the scene and were found
in the area a short time later. Moore was
charged with felony DUI, felony leaving the
scene of an accident and possession of marijuana
and drug paraphernalia. Elder was charged with
minor in possession of alcohol and leaving the
scene of an accident. Neither was injured in the
collision.
Hahn and her passengers, Kershanda Nicholson,
20, and Kaitlyn Fausett, 20, both of Wallace,
were all transported to Boundary Community
Hospital, where they were treated and released. |
