Roads closed list still shrinking

On May 4, Boundary County Road and Bridge
reopened several more county roads to hauling.
The only roads remaining closed at this time are
Beavertail Road, Bonner Lake Road, Colts Road,
Hewett Road, Lynx Road, Meadow Creek Road from
the top of Meadow Creek Hill north to the
junction at Moyie River Road, Moyie River Road
is closed starting north of the Twin Bridges
south to junction of Meadow Creek Road, and
Placer Creek Road.
Weather took a heavy toll on county roads in
March, causing an estimated $1.8-million in
damages. Boundary County and the State of Idaho
have declared a weather-related disaster in
Boundary County, and efforts are underway for a
national disaster declaration to make federal
funds and support available for recovery. |
