The ISEA was established by the Governor to help develop
effective and long-lasting responses to energy challenges in
The ISEA consists of over a dozen task forces staffed by volunteer experts working in areas including base-load resources, biogas, biofuels, forest biomass, geothermal, hydropower, solar, energy efficiency and conservation and transmission. The ISEA task forces and its Board of Directors report to the ISEA Council, a group of the Governor’s Cabinet members led by Paul Kjellander, administrator of the Idaho Office of Energy Resources (OER).

based on the efforts of a wide variety of experts, provides
