Parents apologize for son's behavior

Allen Avery is our son. We would like to
apologize to the people involved and the
community for his reckless behavior and lack of
regard for human life.
His life has been on a downward spiral for some
time now. Brought on by his refusal to take
responsibility for his actions and live as a
productive "adult" member of society. He has
chosen to live his life this way despite our
best efforts to the contrary.
We know that justice will be served on him and
his actions. And we hope that somewhere in all
of this, he will decide to change the direction
of his life.
Children are among life`s greatest blessings and
sometimes, our greatest frustrations.
We are thankful that his actions did not end in
the loss of life.
