We, the teaching staff of Mount Hall Elementary
School, are writing to share with the community
our continued support of our school district and
board. As state and federal funding for schools has significantly decreased we, as a district-wide teaching community, have worked tirelessly to increase student achievement and meet new mandates with fewer resources. It is difficult to predict what additional unfunded mandates and cuts the state may impose upon us. The community’s on-going support in the upcoming M&O Levy is crucial to our students’ continued success. The M&O Levy has moved beyond being supplemental, many of the programs and positions it funds are actually fundamental to our school district. Once again, we ask for your YES vote on March 12 at your local voting precinct. Sincerely, |
