Critical time to vote

In these times of
ridiculous national politics, endless spending,
and oppressive regulation, voting has never been
more important. It is imperative that you
exercise your voting privileges to garner
control over your local politicians and issues.
Soon you will be able to cast your vote using
the absentee ballot. While I personally enjoy
visiting the polls and physically casting my
vote, I understand why many use the absentee
ballot. Many work constantly, especially
farmers, loggers, and truckers. Many are active
military whose votes I personally treasure.
In recent elections, nearly 30% of ballots cast
have been absentee ballots. That is why I am
compelled to write this and encourage you to
cast an informed vote.
Since absentee ballots can be mailed in 45 days
prior to November 6, now is a critical time to
become familiar with the issues and candidates.
Please take the time to learn about the upcoming
election and make your choice for who would best
serve the needs of our community. |
