BCSO offering winter driving classes
October 26, 2017
The Boundary County Sheriff’s Office will be hosting a couple of winter driving courses for the public in early November. The purpose of the class is to provide some basic tips and instructions to help inexperienced winter drivers get around safely this winter.

The sheriff's office is partnering with Les Schwab Tires for the class. They are providing free ice scrapers for those who take the class, along with one roadside emergency kit that will be given away to one lucky person from each class!

Whether you are new to winter driving or just need a refresher on what to do when the roads turn icy, this class is for you. They will talk about driving in the snow, avoiding crashes, staying safe in the event of a crash and what to do if you become stranded.

Class size is limited, so please sign up early.

The class will be held at the National Guard Armory building meeting room at 3 p.m. Friday November 3, and again at 9 a.m. Saturday November 4. Each class will be about two hours long.

To save a spot, please email jmaynard@boundarysheriff.org or call (208) 267-3151, extension 217.
