Up-and-coming Colorado rocker Andy Sydow returns
to The Pearl Theater at 7 p.m. Saturday,
October 21. His performance impressed the local
audience so much last year they requested his
return for another show!
Sydow’s energy appeals to rock ‘n roll aficionados and audiences who appreciate a diverse fusion of musical genres. His Deep South slide guitar mixes elements of blues, jazz and funk with off-the-charts piano solos. The Andy Sydow Band puts on a blistering four-piece live show that covers a mix of Americana, rock and blues. They have opened for incredible artists including Tab Benoit, Delbert McClinton, Dick Dale, Samantha Fish, Dave and Tommy Malone, Chris Duarte, Tinsley Ellis, Bob Margolin and Johnny Hickman (of Cracker). He also toured nationally, playing at such venues as Jazz Aspen Snowmass and Snowy Range Music Festival. He has been nominated several times for Colorado Blues Society Members Choice Awards for his songwriting and piano playing. He has recorded three albums: self-titled Andy Sydow (2013), Trailhead (2015) and A Little Messed Up (2016). Doors open at 6 p.m. for music lovers who hope to enjoy food and beverages from the fabulous Pearl Café.
